Sebastopol Community Cultural Center Selects New Executive Director
Sebastopol, California – May 26, 2010 - The Sebastopol Community Cultural Center is pleased to announce that Diana Gardner Rich has been selected as its new Executive Director. Diana brings with her a wealth of experience from her community work in West Sonoma County. Over the course of her ten years in Sebastopol she has worked with various foundations and nonprofit groups, in leadership Board positions and also as a grass roots volunteer delivering services directly to members of the community. She was the recipient of the 2005 Sebastopol Area Chamber of Commerce Service to Youth Award. It is the Board of Director’s expectation that Diana will continue the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center’s established tradition of serving the people of West Sonoma County, and will provide the leadership and vision that is needed to meet this mission in today’s changing times. Diana’s tenure begins on June 1, and she invites everyone to visit or to give her a call at 707 823-1511. SCCC is also pleased to be hosting the June Sebastopol Area Chamber of Commerce After Hours Mixer, and encourages anyone interested to stop by and meet the new Executive Director. The mixer is on Thursday, June 24, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at the SCCC Annex at 425 Morris Street in Sebastopol.
The Sebastopol Community Cultural Center offers classes, activities, events, and facilities rentals to the community of West Sonoma County. SCCC is a community-based nonprofit service agency incorporated in 1983, and is dedicated to meeting the recreational, educational, and cultural enrichment needs of the very diverse community that it serves.
