Time of Change at SCCC

as we announce the retirement of Executive Director, Diana Rich

Sebastopol, California, October 23, 2017 – The Board of Directors of the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center is sorry to announce the departure of Diana Rich, Executive Director of the SCCC for seven years. Diana’s last day will be December 1, 2017.

During her tenure, SCCC grew into a fiscally stable and treasured resource for all members of the West County community. Diana’s commitment and energy combined with her organizational and problem solving skills helped the Center thrive on its way to meet its commitment to “Enrich the spirit of the Community.”

Music events entertained and delighted audiences of all types while showcasing many beloved West County musicians. Class offerings expanded and evolved to meet the ever changing demographics and needs of our very imaginative and demanding community. The main building was transformed with new floors, remodeled restrooms and kitchen; the exterior received a new coat of paint, beautiful new landscaping and a more inviting entrance.

The Board of Directors and the staff will miss Diana but are so grateful for all she accomplished for the center and the community and we wish to thank her for giving us her all for seven, very successful years. We wish her all the best.

Sweet Goodbye to a Sweet Community Center From Diana Rich, Executive Director - October 27, 2017
It’s been a wonderful seven years leading the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center as its executive director. I was drawn to this position by its mission, and by the opportunity to serve this unique and loving community. I have so many fond memories of people and partnerships that made that goal of service a reality. I retire with the utmost of confidence in the future of this very vital organization.  The Board of Directors is amazing; the staff is incredible – talented and hard working – and the network of supporters that provide a safety net for all of it to happen is undeniably the very best. It’s been grand being the executive director of the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center. Thank you to all who made it all happen these past seven years!
