Bird Watching - Breeding Birds
Explore different areas of Sonoma County while learning about the local bird life. Summer is the season when our local resident birds have set up nests and the young fledglings are out. Wednesday evening’s class introduction (June 20, 2012) will be a slide presentation of resident birds, their songs and habitat. Then, Sunday mornings we meet at the Community Center, travel together to a new location where we will be sure to find exciting birds! Bring binoculars, field guide, layered clothing, comfortable shoes, water and lunch.

Sebastopol Community Cultural Center Announces End to Celtic Festival
Sebastopol, November 1, 2010--At a recent meeting, the board of directors of the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center voted to no longer host the Sebastopol Celtic World Music Festival. The board decided that the festival is simply not sustainable, and the difficulties inherent in subsidizing it outweigh the benefits in the current economic climate.
