For kids entering K - 6th grade.

June 4 - Aug 24

Sun Camp features a diverse array of activities to suit as best as possible the diverse interests and needs of the children whom we serve. Generally, the day starts with an instant activity at arrival time and from there, we start community building and bonding with some kind of circle time. This may include name games, exercise, singing or yoga!

At about 10am, all the children who didn’t eat much in the morning are ready for a snack or “second breakfast”. After that, it is time to divide into groups of younger and older children and from there we take to the park to plant or harvest in nearby gardens, or to learn how to cook greens or grains and other things.

If it is a Tuesday or Thursday, we’ll venture off to Ives Pool to picnic, play and swim for the afternoon. If it is a Wednesday, we’ll be taking a field trip, half of which feature local farms, while others include the classics like the Charles Schultz Museum or the beach. On Monday and Fridays, we’ll be able to enjoy afternoons dedicated to some kind of study; art instruction, sporting games, science exploration, or guest instructors will help enliven the day and keep us having fun, making memories, and providing meaningful experiences.

Early Care and After care will also include an array of fun activities and learning.
