All of the Bija choirs celebrate folk classic repertoire from many of the rich cultural traditions of the world. Choir members learn to sing in different languages, hear harmonies and read musical notation. “Bija” is a Sanskrit word meaning “seed of creation”, which represents the choir’s mission of sowing community, appreciation and compassion for others while cultivating a vibrant performance environment.
