Ballroom Dancing with the Seniors
THIS CLASS HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

“Dancing with the Seniors” is a modified Ballroom, Latin, Swing, and Salsa dance program that includes dance warm-ups, performance by instructor and dance instruction in all of the ballroom dances, based on the abilities of the individual dances. A brief dance history lesson is also included in the form of a “trivia quiz”, which is a fun-filled memory exercise for the group.

Basic Photoshop
Maximizing your digital tools.
Learn the essential features of Photoshop and its utility bridge in how they satisfy the basic requirements of a photographer. This 2 day intensive workshop demonstrates the fundamentals of file management and basic retouching. Daoist Meditation
Broadly speaking, meditation can be defined as “the inward focus of attention in a state of mind where ego–related concerns and critical evaluations are suspended in favor of perceiving a deeper, subtler, and possibly divine flow of consciousness.” (Daoist scholar, Livia Kohn) Shifu Michael’s approach to meditation incorporates the above definition of meditation in the Daoist/Buddhist practice of zuowang, or “sitting in forgetfulness or oblivion,” and the doan practice of asking: What is Not Two?

I offer an exploration into your present experience for you to discover peace, fulfillment and a larger capacity for love. I also offer tools from various ancient traditions as well as modern psychology that aim at deeper freedom from distress & selfishness. Looking deeply at what distresses us, a chance for us to experience that which is not distressed is present. The opportunity is to know this as our ever present state.
