Capoeira is a Brazilian way of life involving dance, music and friendly competition, centered around martial arts and self defense practices. It is a method for developing an exceptional level of fitness, self confidence, awareness and camaraderie. For hundreds of years, fencing has captured the imagination of young people. Who hasn’t imagined themselves with sword in hand, fending off hordes of enemies with a quick and daring blade? With an emphasis on fun, kids learn the basics of fencing: discipline, respect, honor and the importance of physical fitness.

Ki is energy and life force. It is the fundamental source of power developed through the practice of aikido. Learn the Ki Development exercises formalized by Kuichi Tonei to generate harmonized life force within you. This class is a non-combative internal martial art practice.

Self Defense for Women
Ages: Teens (13 +) & Adults
This class is designed to empower women of all ages. Students will learn to understand the criminal mindset, employ situational
awareness & safety tips, utilize anatomy & vital target locations, practice on a life-like training dummy & learn self-defense techniques for use in practical real-life situations. Wear tennis shoes & loose clothing. Bring a purse, umbrella or anything that you would normally carry.
