Chet Atkins Room (The Big Room: concerts, talks & demos)

2:00   Banquet Studios (the pitfalls & solutions of recording acoustic guitar)
2:30  Studio E (mic technique w acoustic instruments)
3:00  Stevie Coyle's afternoon concert
4:30   Zone Studios
5:00   Bruce Sexauer (mold less construction as a means to making better guitars & the role of finish damping in the sound of an acoustic guitar, with a focus on Oil Varnish)
6:00   Tom Ribbekke
7:00   Jackalope Studios (mini concert by Doug Jayne, Jen Tucker & Dean Wilson)
8:00   Mike Dowling evening concert

The Merle Travis Room (next to the big room: displays)

Guitar/luthier displays, including a selection from Stevie Coyle's Mighty Fine Guitar shop in Lafayette and a handful of  National Guitars that Mike Dowling will bring. Additionally there will be guitars shown by Tom Ribbeke, Bruce Sexauer, John Knutson, Harry Fleischman, Richard Prenkert, Bob Groat, Bill Iberti & others. Also, Inlay work by Larry Robinson and, we just got word that Don Ketman from the Woodshop Mercantile will be at the festival offering tools and supply’s for woodworkers.

3:30- 4:30   Alternate tunings/capo class with Michael Capella
5-6:30  Mike Dowling's Resonator Guitar Clinic: It’s not Just for the Blues (standard guitars welcome)

The Doc Watson Room (Side Room: films)

12:00 noon- The Three Pickers: Doc Watson, Earl Scruggs & Ricky Skaggs
1:15 pm- Chet Atkins & Jerry Reed in Concert
2:30 pm- Legends of Western Swing Guitar featuring Eldon Shamblin, Junior Barnard, Jimmy Wyble & others
3:30 pm- Grateful Dawg with Jerry Garcia & David Grisman
4:40 pm- Swing Guitar with Django Reihardt
5:30 pm- Chasin' Gus's Ghost with Jim Kweskin, Geoff Muldaur & others
